Andrew Minors


Andrew is a highly experienced exercise physiologist, with over 5 years of expertise in the fitness industry and more than 2 years in the allied health industry working with NDIS participants and DVA veterans.

Andrew has a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by veterans due to their service. He recognizes the physical and mental health impacts these challenges can have on individuals and understands how this affects their overall quality of life. For the past 2+ years, Andrew has been providing exercise physiology services specifically tailored to veterans' needs.

Andrew has additionally provided strength and conditioning services to several sub-elite and amateur teams. Notable among these are the UNSW-Eastern Suburb Bulldogs, Western Suburb Magpies, and NSW sprinters. Working closely with these teams, Andrew has cultivated expertise in creating training programs that enhance performance and cater to the unique requirements of each sport.

Besides his work in the fitness industry, Andrew actively competes in powerlifting. This involvement in competitive sports has given him first-hand experience of the challenges and benefits associated with such activities. Prior to powerlifting, he also competed in rugby league and cricket, representing Western Sydney University at Uni Games. These experiences have further enriched his understanding of various athletic pursuits.

With his expertise in exercise physiology, knowledge of DVA allied health care, experience with athletes at various levels, and personal involvement in competitive sports, Andrew is well-equipped to provide excellent services to clients at Iron Exercise Physiology.
